Comfortuna VDL - Argentinus - I Love You - Beach Boy

  • Schimmel, *2009, 1,69m, KWPN

von Berlin - Nimmerdor - Celano

For both breeding and sport, Comfortuna is a stallion for the future. Giving scope and technique, sire Berlin performed at the highest level with Gerco Schröder and contributed to the team gold medal at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006. In the ‘Sires Lists’ Berlin is coming closer to being ranked with the world’s best. Offspring H&M Zilverstar T, Ace, Athene and Caspar, all shine at the highest level of showjumping. Comfortuna’s grand sire Nimmerdor needs no introduction. This ‘Stallion of the Century’ put -not only the VDL Stud- but also the entire Dutch breeding program of show jumpers on the worldwide map. Great-grand sire Celano, who himself jumped at Grand Prix level with Rob Ehrens, contributes the valuable genes of Capitol I.

Comfortuna comes from the successful dam line of Lavsca. Dam Solavsca Fortuna not only produced Comfortuna, but also the successful show jumper Wega and she is the halfsister to the Grand Prix show jumper Quattro, ridden by Daniel Bedoya. Well known international show jumpers such as Bulavsco, Brighton Bay, Zellobee, the KWPN-approved Entertainer, Partner SD and Lost Boys Nandor Fortuna are all closely related to Comfortuna.
